New Rhythm Arts Collaborative (NRAC) teaches and mentors the craft of making music in ways that are sustainable and economically viable on the south side of Chicago. South Side neighborhoods communities have been traditionally underserved in access to a complete range of cultural opportunities. 

Also, in order that quality music entertainment be available for South Side residents we make music productions in those communities by performers of extraordinary talent and worth.  Our productions include recordings, concerts, music theater and collaborative events with other media forms.  We leverage the power of collaboration to maximize the impact we can make both qualitatively and quantitatively.

Communities where we currenly work and provide opportunities include: Woodlawn, South Shore, Hyde Park, Kenwood and Rogers Park.
